DIY vivs ~ finished (pic heavy)

A couple of months ago I decided to try a shelving/viv conversion.........
well the DIY vivs and caves etc are finished and both them and my other vivs are now in the spare room
There's still a few bits left to do (like lighting ~ I've decided to put lighting in all of them :main_cool3: ) and a few leo's left to move over but at last there's light at the end of the tunnel lol
The boys have all settled into their seperate batchelor pads and the girls have been climbing all over the place

Wow! That's beautiful! How do you put in the UTH? And where did you find/make the sider doors?? That is awesome!!

I drilled small holes (only wide enough for cables) in the back near the bases which the cabling for the UTH, stats etc goes through with the advantage that the caves etc hide any cabling that shows (the lighting cabling which I'm still working on goes through similar small hole near the top) ~ the slider rails can be bought from some online viv builder shops and DIY stores here in the UK and the glass was courtesy of a friend who's a glasier The sliding glass doors can also actually be slotted out if needed ~ say for instance to replace any equipment/caves etc :main_thumbsup:
The rock caves in the main display vivs were made with polystyrene and grouting and the backgrounds are also a DIY effort ~ I couldn't find any backgrounds suitable for what I wanted so I used a program called posteriza which uses any pic you want and prints it out in sized segments so's you can join together and fablon to make your own backgrounds
