Do females eat when they're gravid or ovulating?

I have a female that is def. ovulating and I put her in with a male and they did it.. I don't know if I see eggs are devolving but do they eat when they're pregnant? She has a calcium dish in her tank so that's taken care of.

Some do, some don't. Keep offering. Some don't get hungry till after they lay.

One of mine ate everything in front of her when she was breeding, and another one of mine would only eat the two days after she lays, then not again until she lays again.

Mine tend to go off food while ovulating for their first couple of clutches and then start eating like fiends. They tend to eat the week or so after they lay a LOT and then stop eating altogether for the week or so before they lay their next clutch. Some, however, keep eating right on through to laying and some are a bit more stubborn and lose a bit more weight. Good luck with yours!
