Do females lay eggs without being pregnant?

I was just wondering if female geckos lay eggs even if they haven't been with a male. I've searched all over the internet but could no find the answer to this question. Thank you

yes they will lay an unfertile egg every once and a while i had a phantom that did this last year

if you just got her and have no idea if she was with a male you can incubat them

You should be prepared with a proper nest box and incubator. It is really bad if she gets egg bound. You need to take her to the vet.

they are probably infertile so throw them away.
