well here is the store. my female "S.H.C.T" Is 53 grams as of a few weeks ago.
and the male i put her with even before that. is i think if i remember 40ish? i think... Anyway few weeks ago i put them in with each other...no breeding...but they didnt fight so i kept them in with each other over night...and another night....and another...then took them back to there bins. few weeks later...i put in a lay box for her and everything else...but i think am not going to have any eggs. i cant get a good shot of her tummy. *my cam is like 2 pounds so i must have at lest one hand holding it up* so here is my female this morning along with a belly shot..if i dont have eggs?..the only thing i can think of is....the male is to small?

I think I can see some eggs forming in the second pic. How long has it been since you first introduced them?

i would say its been at lest 2 weeks. if not more. i have not seen them breed at all. but they could have done it when i wasn't around.

I'm having trouble deciding if the second pic is just fat pads, or if they are indeed eggs. I'm leaning towards just fat pads right now, below is a picture of a near term female. Keep in mind that this was about 4 weeks after the original mating, and the day before she layed her eggs.

Great shot, Jake! :main_thumbsup:

I can't conclude from the second picture above if she is or isn't gravid either. I think there's too much direct light on the area in question, and the image is a little over exposed. Any chance you can get another shot with less flash?

i tried getting other photos. but really she is NOT a easy gecko to hold. you would think she is half bird. trying to jump, kick, and wiggle her way out of your hands..i just dont think i will b getting any eggs from her....wishful thinking i was :main_rolleyes:...i put the male/female in one bin...they do not fight..but Nothing happens they just walk over or away from each other then when i leave they sleep...the male does have a small tail? am going to get some wax worms see if i can beef him up a bit. but Why is Nothing really happening?

I'm thinking that she's not prego. What is most likely happening is that the female s not ovulating... it doesnt appear that she is. Just keep checking, if she starts ovulating then put them together.
