I changed it to the red bulb cuz she needed heat. It was her heat lamp. :]

Did she freak out under the UVB light?
Leopard geckos do not need UVB, nor does any other nocturnal reptile. Herp intended heat pad is all you need. Some animals dull out as they age as well.
It's also not needed for the gecko to live a 100% healthy life and to breed to its full potential while laying a 100% fertility rate. Perfect husbandry and keeping your animals supplemented correctly are the keys to success. I'll trust the numerous amounts of breeders with 15+ years of hands on experience over a 1952 publication and a single website
Sounds good to me.
:main_thumbsup:ditch the ignorance its a bad look. no one ever said geckos NEEDED it to survive...its a benefit if you can properly expose it to your leo. Now, let me ask you something, the countless articles that state the benefits of uvb..who do you think published them?....inexperienced keepers like myself with limited knowledge?...of course not...its wirtten by people who have experience in what they are writing about. " I'll trust the numerous amounts of breeders with 15+ years of hands on experience over a 1952 publication and a single ", truly ignorant...because if you weren't then you'd realize there is alot more articles on the same topic....because somoene has x amount of years experience doesn't mean they will always be right...you can always learn something new. And btw, speak for yourself..if i can give my animals a 100 percent healthy life then damn straight ill do that. Knowledge is power :main_thumbsup:...there 15 years of experience is not YOUR experience, remember that. If someone tells me something, I research and research to come to a decision based on the info
