I know this is a stupid question but is it a given that a male Leo can successfully mate?
I have a killer year and a half old male Sunglow and when I put him with my ovulating female Carrot tail
he does the herky jerky walk, the tail shake, the tail & body bites while climbing all over her but he just
never seems to "connect" even though she raises her tail and more or less "lay" there letting him bounce all around her.
He does everything but mate!
They may have connected for 5 seconds ?
How does you male Leo perform?
Do they stay connected for long?
Does he go right "to it"?
Is this normal?
Thanks,
Michael
