Do whites tree frogs need any type of warmth or lighting?

My mom want to know because, I want a wtf but she does not want to get any thing that needs warmth or something that plugs into the wall.

I used to have some frogs, and yes, I think they do. I highly reccomend researching your animal before buying it.

Thank you guys. I owned a whites around a year ago. He died because refused to eat. =[ He had a heating pad.

The only reason why I ask this is because I have a spare 10 gallon tank. At petco they have baby whites for sale. Don't worry when he gets bigger I will get him a 20 gallon long.
