Do you judge leopard geckos by it's colo/pattern? :O

My mother hates if she sees dark or dull color like normal leopard gecko or patty.
She wanted them be orange yellow pink orange. LOL Very picky. XD My mother love my Jackie.

Definitely not. I think each one has it's own personality and characteristics and judging by color would be just wrong.

My mom refers my diablo blanco as "the one with chicken skin"...and she remembers him better because of this.

My geckos are judged, regardless, because of their lack of fur. My mother refuses to believe that anything that isn't fuzzy is worth anyone's time. It's sort of sad.

My family "tolerates" my geckos (all species). They view reptiles as a non-normal pet, so i get the "your strange for not having a normal pet" speech every now and then. I just tell them "why would I wanna be like everyone else?". I'm not a repti-racist.

My mom thinks my geckos are cute, she generally likes all the ones I have. She just won't hold them, their tails freak her out lol She says they feel like gummie worms. But she'll help change their water or bring home food sometimes. She even talks to my boy Dante when she's in my room playing the SNES (yup, ours still works XD)

I don't judge any geckos simply by their looks. Certain colors/patterns might catch my eye more than others, but color/patter doesn't define the personality of a gecko. None of the geckos I own have extraordinary color/patterns compared to others out there, but I wouldn't trade them for anything.
