Do you put holes in your lidless rack bins?

So Semus you suggest it for more moist enviroments (which I understand the reasons for), does that include hatchling rack where Im going to have the papertowel moist during the first weeks? or should no holes still be ok?

It's mostly to prevent mold, bacteria and fungus from thriving in a moist environment with a substrate (soil mixes, sphagnum moss). Paper towels are a lot less likely to have that problem because they are comparatively sterile and don't have a high nutrient value. If you are regularly replacing the paper towels and cleaning feces, you will probably be fine no holes. Keep an eye on it, of course, prediction isn't always the same as practice.
