that Leos actually enjoy being pet? Like how a cat purrs, or a dog wags it's tail. Mine always closes his eyes as if he does, but maybe he's scared?

It's hard to say! I know we would all like to think so, because we love them.

Before my oldest female passed away, she had stoped eating and just wanted to be held all the time. It was so sad, it was like she knew she was dieing and all she wanted was to be held and loved.

I agree with the above statement I have willow sitting on me at the moment she likes to just sit on me for sometimes for more than a hour. I have other who dont like to come out for very long.

i have one gecko and if your holding him and so to pet him he moves out your way

but my other one she dont mind it at all and some times she will push yer head on my finger its so cute

I think they get scared...But mine like being on me more than being captive in the tank. Which I think is a good sign for me

Well my friend's gecko lifts his chin up for you to pet under... Whereas mine just closes his eyes as if I were petting a cat, but he doesn't run...

I have 4 geckos and all of them are different, Ping (my only male) is my little
traveling companion and likes to ride with me during tank clean up he likes a
little rub on the back of the neck and closes his eyes
Comet (my conscience) wants out for brief periods several times a day but does not want her body touched but she seems to like the top of my head.
Mojave is my curious one the first to investigate new furnishings and seems
to be ok with brief periods out but spends most of her time out of the hides
I can look in at any time and see her she leans on the water dish like a pillow
Amber is very shy she is Pings clutch mate and is very off and on about the touch thing only if she says it's ok.

my female tang likes to be pet under her chin on the head most of mine dont like it that much but i think its really cool how every one that i have has a completely different personality.

Most of my geckos seem to like/don't mind me petting their underarm area (where the fat pocket is). They'll close their eyes as if they're really comfortable, and if I do that long enough, sometimes they'll even fall asleep!
