Some say yes and some say it is not necessary.
Opinions welcome.
If you do worm your leos, how often, what dose, and what compound is best?

To worm the animal means to give it medication to remove parasites that it may have gotten or prevent them. In the case of dogs and cats, it is like giving heartgard to prevent heart worms, or another medication if it got a tapeworm. My vet has never recommended worming the geckos, so I don't.
Here is my view:
I don't see a need to do it unless the fecal shows they may have worms. My feeling is that I don't want to medicate the animal unless needed, so it does not build up a resistance to the medication.

Agreed, I feel the same too.

One thing my animal science professors have been drilling into my head for the past 3 years is don't deworm if there aren't any parasites. If you notice signs of parasites then get a fecal check and go from there.
