Does Anybody Else Get This?

This is just sort of a silly thread, but I'm curious. I've been breeding for 2 seasons now, and both years my dreams get taken over by hatching leopard geckos! Every night I have dreams that eggs hatch and really crazy looking geckos come out. Last night I dreamt that two of my eggs hatched and one was purple with a white dorsal stripe and the other was colored yellow and black like baby green tree python! Wouldn't that be cool?

So anybody else? =P This happens so consistently to me it's weird.

My first clutch of the season is at 49 days old today, incubated at 82.2 degrees, so I'm crazy excited because I'm expecting some hatches soon! They are from Tangerine het eclipse x rainwater albino eclipse pairing. I hope being so excited about it to the point of dreaming about it every night doesn't go away with time. I just love this hobby so much, probably more than anything I've ever done.

I haven't been breeding, but I do remember before I got my first leopard gecko, I kept having dreams about crazy colors on the geckos like one gecko was purple on the top and black on the belly but the purple part kept changing colors so it was like a little light show! I tend to have dreams like that if I'm really anxious about something, and I think it's normal. Also, best of luck to you in this new breeding season! :)

I was really into birds when I was a kid through college, especially parakeets. I originally wanted to breed parakeets and eventually considered leopard geckos to be like the parakeets of the reptile world. I'm still really attracted to parakeets, but between the geckos, the seed mess of the parakeets and the fact that we have cats, it's not going to happen.

I hear you there, Aliza. I've kept all sorts of animals, and birds are by far the messiest! Plus, when we had finches, it was a constant battle to keep the cats from terrorizing them... -_-
