I plan on buying my gecko his/her own mini tv and find a small enough lazy boy to put into the tank LOL

Your gecko doesnt already have a tv? Poor thing. Just upgraded my geckos 1 inch to a 3 and a half inch. Also just had 2 movie theatre seats put in(in case his girlfriend comes over). Waxworms at the concessions!

Many of my big males love TV, especially if there's a alot of action, like sports, American Idol, etc.!
Geckos have various intelligence levels and attention spans though, much like people. The smart ones love TV and will be rivoted to the screen. Some morphs, like Raptors and the more active morphs are kind of oblivious.
We have a customer in FL that has 12 leos and they have a ritual every night. When he goes to bed to watch TV at night, he takes all 12 leos out and puts them on his bed and they all watch TV together. He says they are totally into it! One female has this thing every night where she crawls into his pillow, and turns around so just her head is poking out of the pillow case so she can watch TV, but while being covered. Too funny!
So yes, many leos do love TV. I actually have thought of installing a TV on the wall in our production room so the leos can watch TV at night. It would be great socialization for them, prevent boredom, stimulate their intelligence, help with breeding since they'd be happier, etc. I think it would be great for them. I used to work in animal research for a major pharma company, and they used TV in their primate rooms for this reason. The monkeys loved TV, especially Sesame St videos. If they truned off the TV in the middle of a show the monkeys would go crazy and rattle the bars of their cages until the technician turned the TV back on! Animals are much smarter than people sometimes give them credtit for....

Will loves watching stuff with me, but if he gets bored he goes to sleep.

He might get bored watching tv, but he never gets bored when I bring him to Target! (lol I actually brought him to Target twice)
