I used to do something very similar when I first started years ago. When I had about 10 Leos. when the Colony went up 35 Adults it became very hard to keep up with all that info. Then when 20+ babies show up, there really is no time.

I do that. :)
I keep record of how much they weigh, the amount and type of food they ate, what supplements were used, the date of shed (if I can see it).

I don’t keep track of when they shed, how much they eat, or what they weight. It simply isn’t needed.

Shedding doesn’t matter at all; they will shed when they are ready.

For how much they eat and how much the weight… I don’t care what they eat I go through 7,000 mealworms on feeding day, I cannot possible count out how much I put in each bowl, and then go back and count how much each one ate. I don’t even know how many of them escape. For the weight, I weight the females before I breed them, but if they look a good weight for the rest of the season, I don’t really care.

I used to keep track of all of that information, but I can't with so many geckos now. I weigh my geckos every month, and keep detailed records of breedings, eggs laid, hatch dates, etc.

There's actually a program you can download for free from Ron Tremper's website, it's called "Herp Care Software" and it's pretty cool because it helps you keep track of all of that information. The link is found on his caresheet (after the bulleted list). http://www.leopardgecko.com/emcare.html

I don't keep track of when they shed and how much they eat myself, but I do like to keep track of weights.

Only when I buy a new leo do I make any notes. I make them in my little black calendar book. Other then that, I do not keep any records, except when I have a sick one.
