I live close to alot of breeders and people on this forum. I can't pick one as a hero. I have called, emailed, messaged a few people and even gone in the chat room to bounce some ideals around or ask a question. I have only had leopard geckos a year. I have had a few types of turtles since 1998 and still do.
My best friend Joe got me into reptiles more. I have always liked reptiles but Joe he does Rattlesnake removal and Reptile Rescue. His house is like a Reptile zoo lol. So if anyone I would look to Joe as a Hero. If it wasn't for Joe, I might not have any leopard geckos now lol.
hmmm ok well i got myself into reptiles when i was like 4 or 5 catching lizars and gecko's at my gram's house i got into leopard gecko's through a book...LOL
I am taking applications for my fan club right now... First year is free with purchase of a sexed pair.

I don't have a hero, but do admire and respect a bunch of breeders on this site. I feel that everyone here has something valueable to share, so why choose only one person and limit yourself. :main_thumbsup:
Yeah you are right paul and i have a lot of respect for a lot plp and breeders on this site and others it's just i was curious about other plp hero's or plp they look up to.And paul i look up to you cuz your knowlage in breeding and genetics plus you make awesome gecko's
I agree with Dan. Marcia is and will always be my hero. (no offense to all you other excellent breeders). She is the most helpful person who I am so grateful to even know.
Marcia hands down no questions!! if your looking for a hero give her a call the woman is amazing!! when i first got back into geckos i called golden gate geckos with some question about geckos i think we talked for a couple of hours..she is totally my hero and a true friend.
I agree with the others that there are many great breeders on this site that we should look up to.
I would also recommend looking into any local herp societies in your area. The society in my area is really trying to get more people involved and are thrilled to see young people or newbies to the hobby. Our society has meetings every other month, puts on a show a couple times a year and does many events in the community to spread the word about keeping reptiles. I have found several people there that I look up to and I like having the personal interaction that we can't always get with people on the forums.
I think that there are alot of good breeders and great people on here. I have pmd several with emergencies and just questions and I have gotten the help that I needed. Marcia gives great advice when a paniced gecko mom pms her. Her advise and her slurry has helped me save a few of my babies!!!!
I dont think I have a hero gecko breeder but my favorite breeder is Anthony Caponetto. He breeds all the animals I like (cresteds, leos and carpet pythons) so he's the first one I go to when I'm looking for more animals.
