Does anyone use tongs or tweezers to feed

I have the long stainless tongs. First time feeding I tried to catch the crickets with the tongs, boy did that not work :)

I only use it to sometimes put a worm in front of their hide and see them charge. They haven't been so feisty that they attacked the tongs, so we'll cross that bridge when we get to it!

Heh, I just bought 12" stainless steel, plastic tipped tongs from The Bean Farm last night.

I think I went with an over-kill size, but I did this so that if my husband starts having me feed roaches, I have PLENTY of space between me and the roach.

BLEGH.

Tong Feeding

their geckos? I'd like to try this rather than dropping the worms in front of the hides. Any particular type to look for? I've seen stainless steel ones and plastic.

Yes : Wooden ones are my preference
: Careful how often,
they can reach a dependency (lazy) this way too.
Mix it up.
Let them hunt too.
It's fun to watch also....
especially the prey they have to chase down.
Take care. Hj
