I know how leo's are nocturnal and sadi not to need sunlight. Since i have had my gecko's i have noticed that my male and femal both like to bask under the light at times. Is this a sign of somthing??

What are the temperatures in the tank? It sounds like they're probably trying to absorb heat rather than light.

surface temp is 92 deg.,

they have a uth also. uth is enough but i add the light to be safe

It's natural to go where heat is. If you take the lamp away the air temp will decrease and they won't bask there. They will probably go to the warm hide to bask since the air inside is warmer. Nothing to worry about really.

My normal does the same thing & UTH temps are fine. He comes out a lot less often when the red light isn't on. He weighs 83g so I'm not concerned about his odd habit.

We also have a male that likes to do that and I have checked and rechecked his temps ( dig therm and heat gun) and they are ok. He just seems to like coming out and laying under the red light at times. He seems to like to rotate around from hide to hide and spot to spot.
