So, I have been doing my normal routine with my gecko and he/she is doing pretty well! He/she still looks horribley (its skin is still not even) but he/she and his/her tank mate are both starting a healthy looking shed! I have been "force-feeding" him/her repta-aid and giving nightly warm baths before applying a thin coat of medication which seems to be helping to sooth the areas that are raw and keep them from getting infected. In the next couple days, I intend to stop the medication as the skin is starting to look more normal now and I want to let it heal without a constant layer of medication. His/her tank mate hunted 3 crickets last night and he/she shows a little bit of interest so I think she/he is starting to feel better! I will probably come home later from work to find that they both had a full shed....that would be a wonderful surprise!
