I was looking in his food bowl and I found this. I have no idea what it is .
I use paper towels and the floor temp ranges from 85-95 it gets hotter at night.I cant tell from the photo (and i am on my phone), but if you are talking about the long white "thing"......it looks somewhat similar to a mass of eaten-shedskin. Is that possibly a piece of normal feces beside it? (small phone screen...sorry)
If he stopped eatingbfor three weeks, i agree with the above question and add to it:
What are the floor temps (for proper digestion. ....And prevent belly aches, not eating)
What substrate (maybe he was a little impacted)?
On the side of the feeding bowl. On the top right is another piece of it.Can you post a pic of the "piece" that was outside the feed bowl? And you didn't say,...is that a piece of feces on the left side of the white-thing? Now that I am on my computer, it looks like I see a mealworm enveloped in the right-end of it. That makes me think even more that it might be eaten shed-skin...either pooped or vomited... Idk.. :0
IT's a very blurry picture but it looks like a mealworm that's morphed into it's pupa form (pre-beetle) that most of us call "aliens" for obvious reasons.

I guess he tried to eat it all in one try and couldnt hold it all down maybe?Working with rescues I see regurges all the time. This doesn't look like that. It looks like shed skin to me

It was all just a squishy thing so I don't think it was passed like that. Alright, but its strange that how it ended up in his food bowl lolWell, it doesn't look like a food regurge, at least. If it's fresh, it could just be rolled up skin that he didn't eat at all. Normally poop has some urate to it so if he passed it there should be some there as well
