Dragons oudoors

It was finally warm enough yesterday to bring the dragons outside for some real UV
I only have the Exploratorium and an old plastic rabbit/guinea pig type container right now to put them in outdoors

I want to have my bf build me a wood and screen "rabbit hutch" style type of enclosure-only with more height to it-to be able to bring them out all in one place but have them in separate sections

I like to bring my Beardies outdoors as often as possible during the warmer months for real sunlight

My eldest Beardie -Dragoon-who is around 9 or 10 years old had a real problem with the first 10 minute of being outside
He finally calmed down and shut his mouth
When I was getting close with the camera-he actually jumped at the lens
Thanks for looking
:D

Harry and Sally were much calmer and really seemed to enjoy their first day of outdoor time

One of my girls flips out when she goes outside, but she doesn't calm down. One time she ran off and we had to corner her behind the garbage can. Another time I had her in the back of my dad's truck so she couldn't run off and I had to corner her again ro bring her in the house.

You have very attractive beardies.

Thanks so much Whitney and Jasen

I hear/read that many dragons do really freak out when taken outdoors

For the most part mine have been pretty calm about it down through the years

Dragoon-the one with the black beard in the pics-is still pretty feisty for a 9 year old dragon

LOL!!! my beardie has never blackened his beard at me. I take him outside almost every day that it is sunny, and sit out there for as long as I can (too long and I get a sun burn). He will try to jump down from where I'm sitting, or sit at look up at the sky. He is very fascinated with the ceiling or lack thereof. lol.

Nice beardie :)

Thanks so much Draba and Hacksaw

Some dragons totally freak out when they are brought outdoors and it doesn't bother others at all
Also-this behavior can vary with the same dragon from year to year

The first dragon is my 9 yr old Dragoon
Not bad for an old man-lol
