Dried up Prolapse

So I've been really busy with university and I admit my gecko has not been getting the attention he deserves. He's healthy, fat and poops just fine but I over supplemented him so he now has a calcium sac on his armpit and had a prolapse. I think it prolapsed because we had to move again where there is a boy cat and the boy cat didn't like him and peed all over my room to assert dominance... and Zeus didn't like that. Or it was lack of humidity I wasn't taking great care of his humidity hide so probably that too... Ugh I feel terrible. But anyway don't know how long he had a prolapse but it seems to be really small sticking out of his anal slit and seems to be a light brown colour and dried up.
I washed his cage thoroughly to make sure he doesn't get infected and have been feeding him normally. But I don
t really know what to do. I can't afford a vet appointment to remove it because I'm pretty sure it may be unsalvageable. Can it fall off on its own? Today Im going to give him a sugar bath and put honey on it. Hopefully that helps.

I feel so bad I really should have been paying more attention

Okay this is getting weird. His prolapse just does not look normal. Last time it was quite swollen, thick, looked moist, and this one is almost long like a worm it's really odd. I definitely think it's in salvageable I gave him a sugar bath and put honey on it but it just seemed to draw it out more

There's a chance that this is a sperm plug and not a prolapse. One of my males was licking his vent last night and when I picked him up, he had a light brown sperm plug (they're usually white, but if it hangs around long enough it gets brown and crusty) that I pulled out. You could try pulling gently on it and see if it comes out.

That actually makes a lot of sense... Perhaps it's that instead? Whatever it was it fell off today. I have uploaded a picture of it.. It's on the q-tip. May not be too clear but any guesses one what just came out of him!? Is that one of his little willies or is it a sperm plug?
Thanks everyone I love this site :)

Sperm plug. I actually have a male leopard gecko that I have to "squeeze" (yes, I know it sounds gross) every few days because otherwise, it builds up and the hemipenile bulges get really swollen.

Any updates on how your gecko is doing? Were you able to remove the plug?

He's doing pretty good I think. Stressed a bit since I was cleaning his cage lots thinking it was a prolapse. :p
It came off all by itself! Since I thought it was a prolapse I gave him a sugar bath and put honey on it... He then kind of dragged his butt on his substrate and it came out. I didn't see him do it but there was honey in little streaks on the substrate and then I found what I now know is a sperm plug so that's what I'm guessing happened :)
