So I've been really busy with university and I admit my gecko has not been getting the attention he deserves. He's healthy, fat and poops just fine but I over supplemented him so he now has a calcium sac on his armpit and had a prolapse. I think it prolapsed because we had to move again where there is a boy cat and the boy cat didn't like him and peed all over my room to assert dominance... and Zeus didn't like that. Or it was lack of humidity I wasn't taking great care of his humidity hide so probably that too... Ugh I feel terrible. But anyway don't know how long he had a prolapse but it seems to be really small sticking out of his anal slit and seems to be a light brown colour and dried up.
I washed his cage thoroughly to make sure he doesn't get infected and have been feeding him normally. But I don
t really know what to do. I can't afford a vet appointment to remove it because I'm pretty sure it may be unsalvageable. Can it fall off on its own? Today Im going to give him a sugar bath and put honey on it. Hopefully that helps.
I feel so bad I really should have been paying more attention
