drying out substrate

tropical terrarium, the substrate is to moist, is there any way i can dry it out without overly increasing the temps? or would it be better to take the safe route and remove the substrate and dry it outside the tank

if you are useing eco earth you can now buy bags of dry not compressed eco earth

you need to get the substrate into a more open area or allow an airflow to hit it

i ended up removing it all, and cutting out the excess eggcrate i had in the bottom, and put some papertowels down to dry out what i couldnt remove, and i just squeezed the rest out
