Hello everyone,

So I've decided to give Dubia a try now that we have 3 geckos, 2 of which are giants. I'd like to go ahead and order some but I also am in need of some more mealies.

We've had regular and GIANT mealies and we like having both. Does anyone know of a supplier that carries meal worms and Dubia roaches which reasonable prices. Sure would be nice to order everything from one place!

Hey Jason,

Not sure about amazon, never purchased feeders from them before, but I've gotten just about everything else from them and it all turned out ok. Might want to check out those giant mealies though, I think they're hormone treated; unless of course you're talking about superworms (zophobas morio). I've purchased mealies, supers, silkworms and butterworms from Mulberry Farms with great success.

I've got a booming colony of dubias that I got from theroachranch.com, Ian is a great guy and will give you any tips or hints you need. I'm actually in the Charlotte, NC area and I need to get rid of some roaches (best feeders ever btw) so if anyone is local or wants to work out shipping (as in get a shipping label and send it to me, I don't have paypal or anything) I'll gladly send some your way free (well plus shipping if you need em shipped).

Take a look at all of our sponser bannars above at the top of the webpage. there should be a few feeder providers on there.

Thanks for the reply! From what I have read/heard from others the Giant Mealies are treated with a growth hormone but it does not share any genetic similarities that would cause harm to reptiles. I don't know if that's 100% accurate or not but I did pick up a tub of 100 and the girls seem to like them.

Also, I have looked through some of those sponsors up top and there are some good ones there. Just didn't know if anyone knew of somebody that could hook me up with everything I need all at once.

Ive been told by reputable sources that the large mealies are treated with a horomone but that its very species specific to the mealies and doesnt effect leos. I havnt had any issues with giant mealies.

I've ordered feeders from theroachranch.com and been very satisfied. You might want to consider trying superworms instead of giant mealworms. No growth hormones or anything artificial added to make supers big, the grow big and most leopards love them.

I started my roaches with theroachguy.com also.

Now I have to many to feed away and have tried selling them also.

Check out the classifieds section on the forums here there are a couple members selling them.
