Thanks for the kind words, all! I've had her since she was about a foot long. They're definitely an intermediate level reptile. She was pretty nippy when she was small, but she lost that when she reached about the three foot mark. And now she's just a real pleasure, and a true lady! :main_yes: :sweetheart:

Very nice Dumeril's Boa you have there!

I love Dumerils and regret selling our breeders. By far probably the calmest most docile Boas I've ever owned or bred. From birth they are just so mellow and once you get them established they are very good feeders. One of our girls was about 7ft long and as thick as a coke bottle.

Me too, 'cause I'm on the lookout for a single male breeder or a breeder pair.

She's a great feeder with ideal temperment now, but she was a little less than ideal when she was small. I attribute that mostly to the area where I kept the tank before. I think she was just stressed from us passing by her tank so often.

WOW! That female sounds amazing! About what age was she at that size?

She was about 9yrs old at the time.

I knew I still had some pics, these are from 2004 breeding season:

She delivered 13 and our other girl delivered 12 that year.
