Dusting Supers

How do you dust Superworms? I can't see to get the dust to stick.

I dont use supers but with mealworms I just put them in a dish with the supplement in the bowl so that they get some when they lunge for them. It would probably work with supers also :main_yes:

I only feed supers....much better than mealies imo....anyways.....get a ziplock bag and put supers in it with powder and do the shake n bake for about 10 seconds....

Well size wise they are bigger but not really better then mealies. Theres alittle give in take with both of them. The supers have a bit more protien and fat which of course the size playes into but they have not differance in calcium. The supers have a exo skeleton that is much harder to digest then the mealies. Of course it doesn't matter which one you feed as long as you dust them. I use T-rex sandfire super food leopard gecko dust that is a all in one. This means no calcium dish in the terrarium which i like cause it gets everywhere.

i had the same problem with supers... i used a q-tip to wet them slightly then used feeding tongs to roll them in a dish of the powder. worked quite well.
