What exactly specifies a dwarf leo? Is it a certain length? Certain weight? What??? Here's one of mine that makes me wonder. He is roughly around 9 months old. I do not have a scale at the moment to weigh him. And I DO NOT have Andre the Giant hands either :main_laugh:

Hi.
Here is "Spider" my 2008 hatch of a dwarf.
Spider is a defect with a skeletal high
at the place body ends and tail begins.
Keeping the body section short.
You look to have possibly a small gecko.
I have heard of a type dwarf that
has very short legs also.
I have searched for Leopard geckos
that are Spider's type dwarf.
I could not find many.
One in 2004, 2005,and one in 2006.
Photos were furnished and resembled
the same body shape. More round than long.
The longest that any lived was 2 years.
Here is a Baby Photo + Adult Photo for
you to see.
Take care. HJ

Some times a gecko's growth is stunted too due to malnutrition. I'm not accusing you of such a thing. Just saying in case that was the case there is that option. I don't know if you had this gecko through out its whole life span or not. Anyways that aside. There is also something you should remember. If it is a dwarf gecko. You shouldn't breed them. The size is a deformity. If it is hereditary then you wouldn't want to pass a deformity off to other geckos. Cause most dwarfs don't live that long and have health conditions. That's something we wish to avoid in our blood lines.
