So here is a gecko I have that is nearing it's 1yr mark, and well, it just wont grow. It eats, not great, but it eats. And by all outward appearances it is healthy. Could this be a dwarf or perhaps just something to do with enigma trait? And no this is not a joke or anything like that, it is not a mix up, I have had this gecko separated in its own tub since it hatched. Hatch date is 8/19/2013

She is cute!

wont grow. YES appearances it is healthy. YES Could this be a dwarf? YES Something to do with enigma trait? YES......Hard to say, small gecko or a type dwarf. Different kinds of dwarfs.
Easyist to tell is a generic defect dwarf.
Are other types but some type testing is needed to determine from just a small gecko.
Some time back I had links on lots of dwarf info. Looked but didn't come up with any.
Defect dwarfs have not shown to live very long. Plus very rare to hatch.
Turned away offer of a grand for her when born. My "Spider" seems to be the longest I found.
Other defect types I found { dwarf "Shorty"} lived 2+ yrs., others much, much, less. {months}
Take care. HJ
