DYI enclosure

If building an enclosure out of plywood do you coat the inside with anything or leave it raw. Or would you use another type of wood for the construction.

You should, if not paint, then at least seal the inside. You need something so that if something gets onto the wood, you'll be able to clean it and be reasonably sure you've disinfected everything.
