This girl is growing like crazy, she already doubled since I got her in September, both in lenght and weight.
Her colors hasn't change to much though... which is great in my opinion:)

I don't have a male, too. They seem to be pretty rare. Maybe I cross mine with my "special" subspecies male. The offspring would be worlds first...

from the info i have read montanus tend to be quite a bit larger than E.m.macularius and E.m fasciolatus and definitely much larger than afghanicus.

i like the pure ones too and it is important to keep them pure but also they are good to outcross existing lines to make them stronger. another point is that until more research is done all the species and subspecies out there may not be what they are claimed to be or sold as. unfortunately DNA from wild caught groups were never taken. the last major research on the Eublepharis species and sub species was done in the late 70's. some species and subspecies geographical range overlap. all we have to go on is drawings a few photos and scare counts, ventral scale counts and a few other characteristics. many of the montanus, fasciolatus and macularius seen out in captivity look exactly alike and have no distinguishable differences.
i am all about keeping the animals pure but i want to know the pure animals that i am trying to preserve are what they are supposed to be. in the meantime we can try our best i guess but these wild caught animals at this point are excellent animals to use to outcross.

White and lav robin, but it had a very faint yellowing before breeding..... very faint! coloring similiar to a fasc, but way different body structure such as mateusz's montanus shows.
