I really like the white heads of these guys. How old is this one? As it might be a male: do you know at what temperatures it was incubated?

Yeah they really have a different look to them. Don't know the exact age but he is 37 grams right now. You have some montanus also right?

I do also have a little group of afghanicus. The E. m. montanus are also far from being common in europe, there is only a handfull of breeders working seriously with them. The hardest task is to find males, thats why I would be interested in knowing at what temperatures your male was incubated. I finally have 1,3 together (1,2 cb, 0,1 wc) and after only getting one hatchling of these last year, I really hope for a better season. But the signs are good. The females are all ovulating and my biggest girl started digging tonight and I hope for some eggs anytime soon! These are some of my last years pictures. I really hope to see more E. m. montanus hatching this time!

it's strange that is difficult obtain pure male, last year I used a Montanus male on some morph female, and I obtained a lot of males, also incubating at 27,5.....
Maybe I ve an idea....If you incubate normal leos egg at 33° you obtain again females, maybe Montanus can stay at lower temperature, and incubating at 30/31° you obtain again females, maybe a good temperatures for males is 28/29°?

Hmmm.. That's interesting. I know this guy was incubated at normal "male" temps so I'm not sure whats going on over there.
Beautiful gecko by the way. I would love to see any updated pics of them as adults.
