Gots a qustion

are earth worms safe and good to feed to Leos. I let my partner buy food, and he came home with them. In his defense they did say "red wigglers" on the container, and well the meal worms were kind of red to him. I don't want to waste money and release them, but at the same time I don't want to feed my Baby a meal that would make him sick.

i wouldnt feed them to your leos just to be safe you dont know if your geckos digestive system could break it down or it could make him sick

They are an accepted food item although uncommon. Earthworms have very soft exteriors so I doubt digesting it would be a problem. I would cut the longer worms in half depending on the size of your gecko.

Try offering one to your gecko...he may not even eat them due to individual preference. But they will not make him/her sick.

I have heard both thay they are and are not acceptable food. Try it, and tell us the results.
