eating CGD

Is there anyway to tell if they are eating the crested gecko diet mix other than seeing them do it?? I know they are eating crickets and i just got CGD today and put it in with them. I dropped some on the smaller ones nose and it licked it off but is there anyway to know if they are eating it??

I have never seen mine little guy eat at all. But I watch for signs of healthiness. Good Activity, good sheds, gaining weight, and of course poop (if somethings coming out, somethings gotta be going in).

Yeah, what Doug said. I make sure I see Ferrous eat it at least once a week just because I'm paranoid. That's usually the day a mash a little banana up with it & he devours it.

There's a good chance he's eating it when you see CGD footprints all over the sides of the enclosure.

i didnt see any foot prints but there is a ton of poop in there. Especially for the size of them.

i hand feed my guy a 1/8th tsp measuring spoon full of CGD by hand and then put the dish in. he always eats the stuff on the spoon. im not sure if he has eaten any out of the dish yet but i know he gets some food in him at least because i see him eat the stuff off the spoon.

if you are worried about him not eating you could try this.
