Eclipse gene

hopefully, this doesnt start an argument as the RAPTOR threads seem to. lol. My question is simple. How does the eclipse gene work? I have 2 partial snake eye leos, Does that mean I can not get two solid red/black eyes from these geckos...I guess im wondering If its polygenetic, or just random?

To answer your question, yes, you can get solid eyed offspring from snake-eyed parents.

I agree. Solid or snake eyed parents, are going to give you a whole range of variation, no matter what.

Eclipse/Raptor w/ two solid eyes, I imagine are going to be harder to come by than the ones w/ one of each, etc, but you could get lucky.
