Thats what i was thinking.... i was also wondering if it has been done or if at all possible to have a SHTCTB with the eclipse eye... I am sure it would take some years of line breeding... Is there anyone trying this or have a project in the works.... Or is this at all possible.

I believe someone has produced SHTCT Eclipse, but are marketing them as Golden Eclipses IMO not very spectacular.

In my opinion and experience, Eclipse is not a simple recessive! It can behave similar to a simple(mono) recessive, but from what I've experienced, it's a cooperating or complex recessive trait...

From what I can tell, those 'goldens' are line-bred Eclipses without any albino genes. Yes, you can breed Eclipse/raptor with anything. Some RaptorSunglows are absolutely breathtaking, and others just look like washed out Raptors...selective and line-breeding is the key to make todays fantasy geckos, a reality in the near future :main_thumbsup:

There are a couple of parts to the eyes. The eclipse allels code for black, and then there are allels that code for how much of the eye gets the black. I have a female that only dropped three eggs, but all of hers were full red eyes. It's easy to get an eclipse, it's another thing to get full eclipse eyes. I think snake eyes are going to be an everyday thing for next year, but solid eyes are still going to hold some value due to their rarity.
