EEK! Scale malfunction!

x.x I'm missing my scale. I cant seem to find it any where and I have a female about to drop some eggs. Is there another method of measuring the Perlite and water with out a scale if I cant find it by then? Ive heard of the "light clump" method but I really don't know if I trust my judgment enough to get it right.

sorry maybe someone else can help u out.I use vermiculite.You can try vermiculite

cant find any of that around here, and I already have Perlite which I use religiously lol
