Egg incubation medium?

I'm thinking of using vermiculite for incubating my leo eggs. Will this be OK?

What shoulf the vermiculite/water ratio be by mass?

vermiculite for sure. the way i know my vermiculite is ready is that i add water till all of it is covered (some will float) i give it ten or fifteen minutes to absorb and then i put my hand in the container containing the water and vermiculite and squeeze out as much water as i can (it will still be moist and stick together) and put that in whaever kind of container i am going to incubate in. if it gets dry during incubation, lightly spray the sides juat a bit. if you have prepunched containers from superior i put tape over all of them but three or four. this always worked for me.

i never had any luck with perlite. it seemed to dry out too much and i did not like the feel of it.

i use 80% water by weight.. that's 80g water to 100g vermiculite.
