Egg question

My female raining redstripe was with a male (before I got her) a few months or so ago. She's laid several eggs now (most of which seem fertile, so far). She recently decided that her lay box was not a great place to lay...even though she's been laying there for weeks. Instead, she laid in her wet hide, which just has paper towel as a substrate. One of the eggs is definitely no good - it's all smashed. The other, however, might be okay. It was pressed up against the plastic of the wet hide so one side is kind of flattened and its only a bit dented (I think from her bumping it?) I threw it in the incubator just in case, but any ideas if it stands any chance at all? If its good, will the dents fill out? It seems firm and is bright white. I haven't tried candleing it yet.

Only thing to do is to incubate it and keep an eye on it. I'm not a fan of candling --it means moving the egg around which I don't think is good for it, and I've had eggs candle showing nothing and then hatching.

I incubate everything even stuff that looks awful. If it starts to really mold up and smell then I get rid of it. I've had quite a few surprises.
