egg rolled in laying box

is there any way to tell if your egg rolled and how to turn it so it doesnt drown? the egg was buried and i didnt see it and i just know when i found it it rolled in the box?:main_huh:

It doesn't really matter the first day or so. Just take it out of the lay box, mark it and put it in the incubator. As a matter of fact, just after the female lays the egg she actually spins it around with her back feet anyway.

Yeha.. ALWAYS always make the top of the egg..
imo it doesnt matter what way it goes in if you get it fairly soon

thank you guys that s good to know. these eggs are definitely fertile and i don't want to loose them!!
