My breeding season started well last Friday with 2 from my "old faithful" female (20/20 fertile eggs last season as a first timer). This morning my female who lays infrequently and usually infertily deposited one in the poop area. No chance it's fertile from the look of it. This evening my female who seems to have to lay 1-2 infertile eggs before coming through for me walked out of her magnetic hide, twitched her leg for a moment and squirted out an egg right on the tile. I'm incubating it just in case but I think it's just an early season dud.

My first female (infrequent and infertile) laid her second egg in the lay box and it looks good, although her eggs have been known to look good for 8 weeks, then collapse and contain nothing, but I'm still hopeful.

I hope that things go well for her egg. Do they normal go to the lay box?

Yes, they normally do. I've never had an egg laid outside the lay box be fertile and a few that were laid in the box were infertile as well.
