It could go either way. They may be getting ready to hatch (especially if you're incubating at 84 or greater, given the age of the eggs) or they could have died long ago and are just starting to collapse now. You can only wait and see . . .
Well the 3rd clutch is now at 32 days and both are still alive and doing well. Yesterday my female laid 2 more eggs so I checked the older clutch while I was in the inqubator and could see the little buggers moving and reacting to the light. I don't like handling them so I never pick them up once they go into the vermiculite, but I did hold up a small flashlight to the eggs and that works well enough.
Wahooo... they hatched, both eggs from this clutch hatched over the weekend, just came home to fund to very small babies, our first! My 12 yr old us running around telling everyone he's a grandpa.
These are the parents, not the best pictute, kind of muted. He is beautiful yellow with a decent amount of carrot in his tail, she is not quite as brite as the boy but she too has a carrot tail.
