SO in my apartment there is a little gap under our screen door to the patio..
June bugs keep getting in.. one flew to hiccups cage and he snatched out of mid air..

HAHA.. thats what it gets..

On a side note..
how healthy do you think that is?

He was just doing his job! Eating all bugs within range. As far as how healthy it is- it's not a good idea to feed captive animals wild caught food. There's no way to know what chemicals it may have been exposed to, or vegetation consumed that may have an ill effect on our pets. For instance, gathering silkworms from a mulberry tree at the park has likely been exposed to mosquito spray. A bug that flies into a cage would be an isolated incident that wouldn't likely cause a problem.

A house fly got in my desert horned lizard tank and turned to lunch :)

At least yours will eat them. Norman gets so angry when a fly gets in his cage. He doesn't even try to eat it. He hides and gets stressed out/dark.
