I will definitely be the forum guinea pig to see if these "emeralds" keep their colors through time and if they enhance their colorations through breeding. I think I'll be the forum guinea pig on many of the lines I've picked up for next year :). Marcia and I talked about this and I think I'm going to breed a Co-dom snow female to my emerine jungle CT male after the first of the year. This will prove out whether the emerald lines are dominant or not. If they are, I should produce some snow emerald's. Should be a very enlightening project.

And Paul, you are right - price is subjective and so are various color morphs. Everyone has different tastes and like some colors/patterns better than others. I find that with my panther chameleons too... some like the blues, some like the yellows, some like the pinks, etc., etc., :main_yes:.

I'm finding my favorites in the leo's right now are the stripes, especially bold stripes (I have some awesome ones from Marcia that she produced - ty you Marcia!). Also, DB's have crazy ruby color eyes. I'm not so crazy about no patterns, but the red ruby eyes are stunning. Now I just have to see if I can get those ruby eyes into something with pattern to it or color. That might be a challenge lol.

Yes, there are raptors and also the beautiful geckos produced by Jeff(s), the Radar. I was inferring to using the DB's as breeders to pass off their red eyes to other morphs since their traits are recessive. Perhaps challenge wasn't the right word, since it will be more the roll of the dice.
