i have this mack snow tremper enigma who does this circling motion attacks sometimes. its like a dog trying to catch its tail. its not often too, its funny but it also makes me worried. the other 2 enigma albinos from same parents does the same. everything is normal, exept for that "catching its tail action"

does anyone experience same thing on albino enigmas?
thanks!

Sometimes enigmas are really sencitive to light, so if your usein a heat lamp, get rid of it

It does sound like the enigma circling action. How old are they? It will happen with stress. Do you notice it more often during feeding, cleaning, etc...?

Here is a video somebody posted on youtube of the circling issue. It is a bit blurry, but it shows the issue. If this is what your animals do, then you probably won't want to breed them.

yes he does that catching tail action when he is agitated, when i suddenly turn on the lights. but when i tried turning off the lights and putting on my red light, he acts just fine, hunting and walking around the place. he is now around 5inches and aggressive eater.

so is this common to most enigmas?

It is one of the traits that breeders are trying to breed out in future generations. When breeding, you cross the enigma with something that is not an enigma. You don't breed two enigmas together. You should be able to find a lot of information about enigmas using the search tool on the forums. I don't have experience with an affected one, so I'll leave it to others to tell you more.

Some of my enigmas did this for a while. I have found that it has stopped entirely over time this is from both albino and non albino enigmas

It's the super twisties!! Sorry, another post I was talking about 'the spins' by crossing enigma x enigma if it would make them do tornadoes all over the place.
