Enigma Q's

I have read and read....I still cant get e definitive and concise description of what an enigma is, as in the trait. Obviously it originated from a genetic mutation, but how does it work, as in crossing it with different morphs?

I'll take a shot at this one: It is an incomplete dominant mutation that when combined with other traits, it makes those traits even more funkdified. Intermediate funktitude can be acheived in the first generation, but for full funktitude expression, you must breed those "hets" together

Simple answers are for simple questions...there is far more "grey area" than black & white in leopard gecko genetics

While not chizzled in stone to say, it's so far dominant, not incomplete dominant. It does however take on/enhance the traits of other morphs in appearance.

All you have to do for that is breed an enigma, to another gecko, and you get the enigma trait in some of the offspring.
