Enigmas all have a neurological defect which inhibits their sensories (depth, equilibrium, etc.). There is still much to be learned about what it exactly is...but thats pretty much what it boils down to. Some may argue that not all Enigmas have it...but I strongly believe they ALL do, just expressed at different intensities. I have had perfectly normal appearing Enigma breeder produce enigma offspring with more expression of the syndrome. The syndrome can cause star gazing, failure to feed, circling, head tilting, rolling (failure to know up from down), and more. It is an awesome morph modifier, but I have stopped working with them because I believe that investing time in line bred projects can produce the same affect but with 100% health of the animal.
