I believe that the symptoms are reduced with each outcrossing. So with every Enigma x Non-Enigma pairing, the symptoms are less and less noticable. That's why you see most of the more popular breeders here stating that it's not a good idea to do Enigma x Enigma crosses. Because there simply hasn't been enough outcrossing done yet.

I'm outcrossing my male this season too, and already have four eggs, so I'll have some first hand information in about a month.

I also have a male hypo tangerine enigma with slight enigma symptoms. Hes fine until he gets stressed out. Then he plays the tail chasing game. I bred him with a High yellow het raptor. The babies hatched on 3/16 and so far i have not seen any symptoms.

They say outcrossing enigmas reduces the effects of the syndrome. They still have the chance of producing babies with the genetic problem though. To me the problem is that you can't garantee that the offspring won't have the genetic problem when breeding. Many test have been done and still nothing much is really know about this morph.
