enlarged egg?

I am using a home made incubator with an aquarium heater as my heat source, so far hacthed 8 leo's this year so i know it is running smoothly. have noticed over the passed week that 2 of my eggs i the incubator have doubled in their size compared to all the other eggs in the same container, still see the red veins in the eggs they must be around 35-45days old is this normal?

Not sure if you call it normal, but I have had some to
puff up like blowing tight a balloon, usually near the end of the
cycle. Hatches were fine here.Take care. HJ

so should hatch shortly, when eggs are ready to hatch do you usually still see the red veins visable?

and you've hatched 8? is the first time your witnessing an egg about to hatch, like the previous ones, did you just leave them alone for a couple of days and then boom you had babies, because if so that's why it looks weird to you. Eggs will most definitly grow in size!!

Most of my eggs have almost doubled in size when the baby was growing. Sounds pretty normal. Mine would double anywhere from 1-3 weeks before hatching.
