I am curious about what is going on with leopard geckos in the overseas markets such as new morphs and variations of others that have been around for awhile. I was wondering if anyone has a website to a european forum or site that can help me out with this. I've tried looking but the ones i find are run down or are a foreign language that I can't read. Its just someting i curious about and I just like to be on top of things. Any help is appreciated.

What exactly do you want to know? We have nearly every known morph here in europe too but always a bit after for example A&M cause they are faster.
But we have own things like calico/white&yellow or the not fully proofed but breathtakeing Snow White stripes.
Or Ray Hiney Ghost gen.

Ahh and we have many subspecies that comes to a point that USppl import Europe subs.

Ahh and then we have Black pearls and Black velvets.

Well is there a forum or site over there like geckoforums is here thats in english? I'm just wanting to stay ontop of whats happening over seas. I know that everyone basically has the same morphs but theres always things changing and differant variations. There are morphs that you have that we don't like the calico. Just wondering if there is a site or forum from europe or anywhere else. Just trying to find a site where i can stay ontop of whats going on over there.

I thought urban gecko is the sole owner of black pearls? They say the original owner didn't sell any offspring from his collection. Is this true or false? Is there black pearls still running round over there?

Yup their your right at least it´s what he is saying. I dunno if some were sold before or not but as I know ppl that got pearls offered it could be some were sold but I don´t know it and I don´t want to say something wrong.
What I meant is that the Pearls came originaly from Europe.

And this is an adult SWS female:

That one came from a SShT*SH it seems to be a Mack Snow Tremper stripe but it was always more then white. It hasn´t become darker even thought it is housed in a big terrarium without heat in the night times.
I will ask Björn to post hatchlingpictures.
It´s not prooft what it is but its extremely nice and so far this breeding season will show up some hot stuff I think.
As said nothign proofed yet but I would say a hot project^^

This is the same one just younger

Thats all i wanted to know if there was a forum over there in english. I like doing my own reading and research and don't ask too many questions unless its needed.

I don't really care for GU! ITs full of newbies who think they know what they are talking about. GF is the best forum around that i have found. Mostly full of good people!

I'd say for sure that they have sold some Black Pearls but only the people who bought them or sold them would know if there is any.

That geckos looks like it has the mack snow patternless genetics as long with the tremper genes to me! Its really light!

The hatchling looks like something special but the adults looks like some of the geckos out there right now. Maybe some more breeding will bring something different out. It does look like something new and special could become of it.

You european guys outta make a forum or something to help everyone else in the world know whats going on over there. :main_thumbsup:

I agree. Wouldn't it be neat to trade secrets? I was just over on morphs and genetics and they were discussing a morph called 4 eyes. There was a link for a European breeder that works with them and so I went to her page and saw two more morphs that aren't over here. The one that caught my eye was called a snow jungle ghost. Ya'll have some pretty sweet morphs over there! Do you think it's because of the distribution of the different subspecies of leopard gecko?

Ohh well testbreeding has to be done for sure :)

THe 4 eyed is something where the gecko has black dots or so over their eyes but same as bandits its nothing I realy like so I can help with infos on them.
A SNow Jungle Ghost is a combomorph. I saw snow Ghosts at alex hue's page a short ago but not jungles.

I think their are still many combinations to do and same as US breeders want to breed things no one has before europeen want it too. You can see some gens and think "this could be cool" and thats what happens so that all these morphs are out just that some europeen breeders have done things US ppl hasn´t thought of yet :)

Their is also a morph named Raptorglow from Sunglow het Raptor*Sunglow het Raptor breeding :)

Hello,

the SWS is a special morph and I see no other Leo like this!!

The First SWS comes from breeding Mack Super Snow het. Tremper Albino x Super Hypo het. Tremper Albino. Here you can see more

http://geckoforums.net/showthread.php?t=22491

Here some Pics from the SWS in my Terrarium. You can see that she is white. The Temps in the Terrarium are not so high like a Rack and the color is white.

So when you say you have see other Leos in the USA like that show me some Pics!

I have talk to other breeder in Germany and in the USA and no one see a Leo like that.

The first Hatchling from breeding the female is also a SWS and the color is great! But see one the Pics

At the very least that is the nicest Mack Tremper Stripe I've ever seen, but there may be something more too it also.

JMG has a gecko very similar available. It's a mack snow lavender stripe. Check it out

I think if that gecko were tremper, it would look very similar.
