Or really, gaining color. I got a fairly old snow (and by old I mean about 5 months old), and she was stark white when I got her, and as I've had her for a few weeks now, she has gotten more gray. The temp. of her cage is around 90-92, so she hasn't gotten cold.
Is there a specific temp. range that makes snows more white?
Thanks for any replies!

As they grow into maturity their coloring will change. A lot of times the white will turn more of a yellow or gray color. The black will become more speckled and sometimes turn lavender. I couldn't find a really young picture of her, but here are a couple pics of our girl Freya as a juvi and adult so you can see the difference.

WOW! That's pretty crazy Steve! That is QUITE the transition! And you can still the the original outlines of the solid black spots it had as a baby!

The baby was 5 months old though, and I had her for a few days as stark white, then she just...faded to gray.
I understand when they are that young they will change, but she was older...

Haha, but thanks for the pictures, they are amazing differences, especially with the hypo.
