Just finished using 20 lbs of excavator to design a layout for a 15 gallon tank. will post pics and results as soon as I have tested it out. It looks so much better and realistic than anything else I have seen used as a subtrate.

Are you using it for leopard geckos? I thought you can't use under tank heating with it? I'm just confused about this stuff.

That is correct you cannot use it with a UTH as it effects the integrity of the clay. The room my Leos are in is regulated by a thermostat with its own ac unit so I just use a low wattage bulb to provide some heat but mostly just to simulate daylight so I do not need a UTH. I also live in Arizona so keeping them warm during most of the year is not an issue it is more about controling the temp so it does not become too hot. I am waiting for it to dry a little more before placing anything in it.

That's cool I don't plan on using the stuff because I use a rack, but I was curious about it post pics when you get a chance. :)
